As a partner in Eidolon Communications, Dennis has worked extensively for progressive, political, advocacy, civic and other non-profit clients since 1986. Prior to forming Eidolon, he was Senior Writer at The Kamber Group, a Washington, D.C.-based public relations firm. Prior to joining Kamber, he worked as deputy press secretary for then-U.S. Rep. S. William Green (NY-18), and as a political advertising producer. Dennis was co-chair of the board of directors of GLAAD/NY for two years, during which time he was co-founder of the GLAAD Media Awards. He volunteers as an adult literacy tutor for Literacy Partners in New York, and is a former member of the board of directors of SAGE, Services and Advocacy for Gay & Lesbian Elders. John has been a partner in Eidolon Communications for more than twenty years, during which time he has developed strategy and management programs for a wide-range of non-profit accounts, many of which he put in the mail for the very first time, including Brooklyn Botanic Garden, New York Restoration Project, Legal Action Center, and Poetry Society of America. Prior to forming Eidolon, John was National Program Director of the American Social Health Association, where he stewarded ASHA’s winning bids for the U.S. Centers for Disease Control’s AIDS Hotline and National AIDS Education contracts; he personally directed the establishment of the CDC AIDS Hotline in New York when it was launched in 1985-86. He was chair of the board of directors of Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, guiding its growth from a small neighborhood-based STD clinic to the largest gay and lesbian primary care health facility in the world.

Amy brings 10 years of experience in managing nonprofit direct response programs. Prior to joining Eidolon, she was Director of Online Advocacy and Fundraising at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, overseeing PPFA’s national and affiliate collaborative online fundraising and advocacy as well as the integration of online and offline communications. Before moving into that position, Amy was Director of Direct Response Marketing at PPFA, managing and developing both direct mail and online fundraising strategy and execution. Prior to joining PPFA, she was Director of Membership and Marketing at the Jane Goodall Institute; Account Manager at Craver, Mathews, Smith and Company; and Program Manager at The Avalon Consulting Group. Gerri got her start in fundraising over fifteen years ago working for North Shore Animal League America, having held positions in direct marketing and planned giving. Prior to joining Eidolon, she worked at Condé Nast Publications as a New Business Marketing Manager, and at Sanky Communications for a decade. She has raised funds for a variety of causes, and in positions ranging from Account Executive to Operations Manager. Gerri also served as a board member for the Direct Marketing Fundraisers Association and is actively involved in several local non-profit organizations in her hometown on Long Island.

Kevin has a degree in graphic design from Parsons the New School for Design in New York City, as well as a B.F.A. from Florida State University. He has been with Eidolon Communications for four years and worked extensively with such clients as The International Rescue Committee, The Maritime Aquarium in Connecticut, ORBIS International, The Trevor Project, Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Direct Marketing Fundraisers Association. Matthew is a recent graduate of La Salle University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Political Science. He has worked in the communication and media relations field, most recently completing a summer internship with Ceisler Media and Issue Advocacy. Prior to moving to New York, Matthew was socially and politically active in Philadelphia for many years. He has experience working and volunteering for elected officials and campaigns, most notably the Obama Pennsylvania Campaign for Change. In addition, he served as a Mayoral appointee to the Philadelphia Youth Commission, an organization dedicated to giving youth a voice in city government, which he helped establish. In August 2010 Matthew assumed the position of Vice-Chair of the Southeastern Philadelphia Transportation Authority Youth Advisory Council, a body which has effected much change within SEPTA. He hopes to continue his social and political activism in New York. Matthew joined the Eidolon team in June 2011.
